A number of projects aimed at developing the construction industry and expanding local production are being implemented in the Mangystau Region. One of them is KazEcoBuild, a company located within the territory of the Aktau Seaport Special Economic Zone.

The company has been operating since 2023 and provides permanent employment to more than 10 people. The facility primarily uses locally sourced raw materials: cement is supplied from the Mangystau Region, while special chemical additives are imported from Belarus.

The production process consists of four main stages. First, cement, quartz sand, water, lime, and foaming agents are mixed in predetermined proportions. The mixture is then poured into special molds, where a porous structure forms as a result of a chemical reaction. Once the material reaches the required strength, it is cut into blocks of specified dimensions. The finished products undergo quality control before being shipped to customers.

According to the company’s specialists, gas blocks are lightweight and have good thermal insulation properties. These characteristics make them suitable for constructing monolithic buildings.

“Compared with shell rock, which is widely used in our region, gas blocks are lighter. They also retain heat well,” said Akylbek Kudaibergen, an operator in the casting section.

The company plans to increase its production capacity and launch the manufacture of other types of construction materials. The implementation of these new projects will create additional jobs and strengthen the production base of the construction industry in the Mangystau Region.
