On December 21 of this year, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "SEZ "Seaport Aktau" B.M. Kenbeilov took part in a meeting organized by the Chamber of Entrepreneurs and the Council of Businesswomen of the Mangystau region. During the meeting, practical measures were identified to implement the instructions of the Head of State K.K. Tokayev and the leadership of the region on the development of light industry in the region and on the territory of the SEZ "Seaport Aktau", including the textile cluster. The importance of ensuring the socio-economic effect, the need for the production of competitive textile products aimed at covering domestic needs and exports was noted. In addition, the results of the visit of the delegation of the Mangystau region to light industry enterprises in the territory of the SEZ "Ontustik" (Shymkent) were summed up. The submission of proposals to the central authorized body on the expansion of priority activities of the SEZ is planned in the first quarter of 2022.
